Nazly Edenburg
Learning Leader
The first time Nazly realized she was destined to be a part of the cosmetology industry was when she was 7 years old. Born in Columbia, South America, she was raised by her grandmother. Her grandmother cut her hair, put makeup on her and dressed her up. Her grandmother was the first person to introduce her to the world of cosmetology. As the years progressed, her love for hair and makeup continued to grow and become stronger.
Nazly decided to make her dreams come true. She enrolled into cosmetology school and began her journey into becoming what she is today, an accomplished stylist and educator.
Nazly realized she enjoyed mentoring and helping others to achieve their goals, so she continued her education with the teachers program. This is where she first got a taste of performing on platform. Her experience in teaching cosmetology students refined her attention to detail and allowed her to hone her speaking skills. She was the lead stylist for a prominent cosmetology school commercial advertisement and was their Teacher of the Year for 2004.
Her passion for the industry has motivated her to compete in several competitions, such as City of Hope where she won first place and Bubbles Salon competitions where she won 3rd place. Her work has been published in Philadelphia Weekly and Hair Style Sophisticates hair magazine etc.
Her education covers a broad spectrum from Pivot Point International Educational System, Click Educational System to currently working as a Learning Leader Advisor. She is responsible for all learning leaders at The American Beauty Academy (Philadelphia) Vision School, a Paul Mitchell Partnership School in Training where she is rewarded every day with her students success. She is able to influence and impact the lives of young men and women that also have the desire and motivation to become a successful stylist, as she is today. Nazly has the best of both worlds. She is able to work as a stylist and teacher, while fufilling her dream every day.
